John Krueger, Founder of Krueger Transport Equipment
John established Krueger approx. 50 years ago, building his first trailer in his own front garden in West Melbourne.
Since those humble begins Krueger have gone on to be Australia’s most iconic trailer builder with a reputation for innovation, quality, reliability, and longevity. John’s passion has always centred on improving efficiency, productivity, and safety for transport operators and those remain key drivers of the business day. Over the last few years John’s focus has centred on equipping Krueger for the ever-changing world that we found ourselves in, with substantial investments made in state of the art laser cutting, CNC presses, robotic welding, and the early implementation of AI to conduct repetitive tasks.
John was awarded the “Honour Roll for Services to Industry” at the 2024 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards by the Victorian State Government.
