Andrew Lamb, Aligning Data, Responsibility and Authority in a single role for Quality and Compliance in Business
On the 30th of August 2021 a known defective Army 45M Heavy Recovery Vehicle rolled on Dotswood Rd. near Townsville killing both occupants, the root cause of these fatalities and the later Taipan Deaths was found to be in the business structure of defence procurement and the decoupling of payment from compliance.
Over the last 5 years Andrew has been working on updating the Defence Procurement Process acting as a pro bono advocate on Defence Business Processes and Safety Outcomes more recently as an Orange pass holder in Parliament House Canberra.
His presentation will cover business structures and data flows that affect quality and compliance outcomes impacting profits and customer outcomes.
He will discuss Defence, Holden, the underlying logic of Toyota Business Systems and the process of lobbying our Parliamentary representatives.
