Russell Rolls – BE, MBA, FIEAust (Retired) – Can Dirt Save the World?

Russell was formerly the CEO of Australian and International resources engineering companies. He has served on a number of government boards and committees and has been a long-standing Councillor of the Australian Industry Group.

He assisted with the development of Global Renewables and has a deep commitment to greenhouse gas reduction through soil carbon sequestration and the consequent improvement in soil quality and farm productivity.

He is currently part-owner & director of Regenerative Australian Farmers Pty Ltd – developing soil carbon projects under the Federal Government Carbon Farming Initiative.

Russell established the first domestic waste-to-resources plant in Australia. A similar plant was established in UK.

He is Chairman of Trustees of The Sir Henry Royce Foundation.
