Our program will include:

David Limbrick MLA

David Limbrick has been a member of the Victorian Parliament since 2018, representing the South East Metropolitan region in the upper house. He is the leader of the Libertarian Party and a strong believer in low taxes and small Government. The Libertarian Party are the only party represented in Parliament that have never voted for an increase in taxes.

Prior to being elected David had a long career in the consulting and finance sector, including work in plastics manufacturing, timber production and food production. As a representative of the largest manufacturing district in Australia he has had a lot of engagement with the manufacturing sector, including speaking at many SEMMA events.

In Parliament he has raised many issues that have been raised by the manufacturing sector, including; taxes, energy, planning, freight logistics and infrastructure and regulatory reform. His advocacy has led to more coverage of these critical issues, including in the media and when the Iran War broke out he ensured that the Minister met with key people to discuss plastics supply chain issues.

One of the first issues that David tackled when newly elected in 2019 was the Engineers registration scheme, being the only politician to come out strongly against the scheme. Driven by a consistent political philosophy, he is steadfast in advocating for lowering the burden of Government and helping manufacturing businesses to flourish.
